About us

A.E. Fox writes supernatural romance full of morally gray characters, dark humor, and just enough emotional damage to feel like a hug and a punch at the same time. Her stories explore mental health, healing, and the kinds of love that make monsters worth rooting for. She believes every cursed being deserves a second chance—and probably a sarcastic sidekick.

When she’s not wrangling plot twists or letting her characters make terrible decisions, She enjoys gardening, collecting shiny rocks and dead bugs, and sitting very still during thunderstorms like a Victorian woman waiting for a dramatic revelation. She shares her home with a 30-pound cat, a 12-pound dog, and more houseplants than is strictly necessary.

By day, she works at a small-town movie theater and makes balloon animals with suspicious enthusiasm. By night, she writes books and plays cozy video games like a goblin in an oversized tee. If you're looking for romance with bite, banter, and a few emotional scars, you've come to the right place.
